Day Camps

Irving Parks and Recreation operates day camps during the summer and school holiday breaks to give kids a place to be kids.

Irving Parks and Recreation offers full-time day camps during summer and select holiday breaks for children enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade (2024–25 school year). Camps run Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding holidays.

SUMMER CAMP FEES:

$100 per week
$10 nonrefundable deposit per child
$10 sibling discount

SUMMER CAMP

Registration opens April 26 at 9 a.m. for current Irving Parks and Recreation members, available online or at any neighborhood recreation center. Summer Camp will be held at all six full-time centers, offering arts and crafts, sports, video games and more. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

HOLIDAY BREAK CAMPS

Camp activities include arts and crafts, gym games, and field trips. Campers should bring a sack lunch; morning and afternoon snacks are provided. Camp runs from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with registration available online or at recreation centers (IPAR ID required).

• Thanksgiving Break: Monday through Wednesday before Thanksgiving

• Winter Break: During school’s two-week holiday break (closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day)

• Spring Break: Follows the school district’s Spring Break schedule
