Yorkshire Street Bridge Closure

The bridge on Yorkshire Street, near Nottingham Drive, has been delayed until Monday, June 16. The bridge will remain closed through fall 2027.

The bridge along Yorkshire Street, near Nottingham Drive, will be closed Monday, June 16 for bridge demolition and drainage channel construction operations as part of the West Irving Creek Construction Project. Work is scheduled to run through fall 2027, weather permitting.


Nottingham Drive remains open during this work.


Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and use care driving in the area.


West Irving Creek Construction Project

The first phase of the West Irving Creek Drainage Improvements consists of channel improvements from W. Pioneer Drive to Alan-A-Dale, as well as park improvements at Wyche Park. Work runs through fall 2027, weather permitting.
