Lake Carolyn Promenade Extension Opens

An extension to the Lake Carolyn Promenade is now open – and even more is on the way!

The section known as Phase 4 includes an eye-catching pergola off Promenade Parkway and helps connect residents with mass transit.


Phase 5 – now under construction – will create an attractive pedestrian path toward Irving attractions, such as the Toyota Music Factory and the Irving Convention Center. It is expected to be complete in Spring 2026.


So far, 5.25 miles of the Lake Carolyn Promenade are complete.
