Bridge Closure: Alan-A-Dale

Beginning Friday, Sept. 19, the bridge on Alan-A-Dale, between Nottingham Drive and Locksley Chase Drive, will close for demolition and drainage channel construction operations as part of the West Irving Creek Construction Project.

The bridge will remain closed through fall 2027, weather permitting.


Nottingham Drive remains open during this work.


Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and use care driving in the area.


West Irving Creek Construction Project

The first phase of the West Irving Creek Drainage Improvements consists of channel improvements from W. Pioneer Drive to Alan-A-Dale, as well as park improvements at Wyche Park. Work on Phase 1 is expected to be completed in fall 2027.
