Wingren Drive and Vera Cruz Street

Beginning Monday, Sept. 22, Wingren Drive, from La Paz Court to Vera Cruz Street will experience lane closures. Later the project moves to Vera Cruz Street, moving east to Acapulco Street. Detours, when necessary, will be posted for drivers.

The work is part of the city's Pressure Zone Boundary project designed to improve water pressure for residential properties through the installation of new water pipes.


The project begins at Wingren and La Paz Court and travels south to Vera Cruz Street. After completion, the project will move to Vera Cruz, heading east to Acapulco Street. The full extent of the work is expected to be completed by the end of the year, weather permitting.


Drivers are advised to follow directional and detour signs in the work areas and seek alternate routes when possible.
