Smart Returns Go Live, Nov. 10

All Irving Public Library locations now feature brand-new book returns! On Monday, Nov. 10, it’s time to flip the switch and see the big benefits they bring to both customers and staff. With the new smart returns, most items are checked in immediately, even when the library is closed!

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Hold an Irving Library item up to the return slot until the light turns green.

Step 2: Place up to five items in the slot at a time—the returns will be checked in right away.

Step 3: Come back anytime for more great reads and checkouts!
