Check out Citywide Events hosted by the City of Irving Parks & Recreation Department, featuring activities, festivals, and family-friendly programming throughout the year. Many events take place at Heritage Park in Downtown Irving, offering a lively setting to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the city’s parks, culture, and community spirit.

In fall 2025, a temporary transformation created an opportunity for the community to test ideas, spark imagination, and help guide the revitalization of downtown Irving. Community members were invited to get involved and play a role in shaping and planning this unique experience.

In December 2024, the Housing and Redevelopment Division conducted a citywide survey titled "What Does Downtown Irving Need?" The Survey Results are now in, shaping the next steps in revitalization efforts. Alongside the survey, a Market Snapshot was also completed, providing key data to help guide future retail and development strategies.
