Irving Leading Interns for Tomorrow (ILIFT), the City of Irving’s dynamic internship program, prioritizes high school, undergraduate and graduate students’ academic goals with the city’s objectives.


The program, unlike any other, provides an opportunity for professional development and community engagement through meaningful work and impactful contributions. The city opens internship positions based on department discretion and organizational necessity.


Paid internships start at $11.28/hour unless otherwise noted by the individual’s school.
