Come out to Heritage Park Friday, June 13 and to Georgia Farrow Recreation Center on Saturday, June 14 for a two-day celebration honoring the rich history of the African American community here in Irving.

Embrace the spirit of community by honoring the legacy of the past, celebrating the present and embracing the future of freedom. This free, family-friendly weekend will offer live music, local vendors and community groups, free food Friday, and so much more. 


Pack your lawn chairs, lace up your dancing shoes and load up the family for a weekend of community in the heart of Irving!


What a Party!

The Juneteenth Celebration honors the rich history of the African American community here in Irving. The annual event features music, free food, and so much more for the whole family to enjoy.
