Road Construction Updates
The City of Irving works hard to minimize the disruption caused by road construction and to keep everyone informed of construction projects, timelines and traffic flow.
While the traffic cones are a nuisance, construction means new and improved infrastructure, as well as community growth. Growth brings in the tax revenue needed to continue offering quality services and maintain Irving resident taxes and fees that are among the lowest in North Texas.
Bridge Closure at Yorkshire Street and Nottingham Drive
The bridge on Yorkshire Street, near Nottingham Drive, has been delayed until Monday, June 16. Yorkshire Street will remain closed through December.

TxDOT Project on SH 356 (Irving Boulevard) Runs Through September
The Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) $7.6 million SH 356 (Irving Boulevard) Rehabilitation Project runs from State Highway (SH) 183 to the eastern limit of Irving.
