Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
Monday, January 19, 2026 | 12:00 pm
In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, city facilities will be closed Jan. 19. Monday regular trash, recycling, brush and bulky collections will not occur; regular collection schedules will resume Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Irving residents who have unused household chemicals can participate in this special collection event for these hard-to-dispose materials.
Friday, July 3, 2026 | 1:00 am
All city facilities and services are closed. No trash, recycling or brush/bulky pickups will occur.
Monday, September 7, 2026 | 12:00 pm
All city facilities and services are closed. No trash, recycling or brush/bulky pickups will occur.
Thursday, November 26 - Friday, November 27, 2026 | 12:00 pm
All city facilities and services are closed. There will be no residential trash, curbside recycling and brush/bulky collection Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Thursday, December 24 - Friday, December 25, 2026 | 12:00 pm
All city facilities and services are closed. No trash, recycling or brush/bulky pickups will occur on Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Friday, January 1, 2027 | 12:00 pm
In observance of the New Year holiday, city facilities will be closed Friday, Jan. 1. Friday regular trash, recycling, brush and bulky collections will not occur; regular collection schedules will resume Monday, Jan. 4.
