Help Keep Dumpsters Clean

The city’s dumpster ordinance helps ensure dumpsters are properly maintained and well kept.

The top three dumpster violations are:

1. Overflow: Trash and debris can scatter or attract wildlife when dumpsters are overflowing or when items are left on the ground.
2. Unsecured dumpsters: Doors and lids should always be closed.
3. Enclosure maintenance: Enclosures must be maintained to ensure containers are not visible from rights of way.
