Illegal Dumping

Illegal dumping is everyone's problem. Litter, tires and other trash must be disposed of properly in the City of Irving.

Penalties

Illegal dumping is a serious offense. Depending on the circumstances, individuals caught illegally dumping can face charges ranging from a Class C misdemeanor to a state jail felony. These charges come with significant fines and, in some cases, potential jail time.

Residents and businesses should report illegal dumping by calling the Police non-emergency line at (972) 273-1010 or through the online Report A Concern portal.
