The City of Irving works with the following local organizations to promote business and economic development within the city.
The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce
Since its founding nearly nine decades ago, the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce has established a proven record of assisting thousands of businesses of all sizes with their relocations to Irving-Las Colinas, the place now recognized as Texas’ “Headquarters of Headquarters.”
In addition, the chamber also supports continued business growth through workforce development, legislative advocacy, networking opportunities, visibility and marketing.
Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
The Irving Hispanic Chamber (IHCC) promotes business prosperity and unity through the development of Hispanic businesses and entrepreneurs in the Irving DFW area.
The IHCC is one of only three official Hispanic chambers in the Dallas region recognized by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau
The official destination marketing organization for the city, the Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau (ICVB) represents the city’s $3.04 billion-per-year hospitality industry community and welcomes more than four million visitors annually.
Las Colinas Association
Irving's Las Colinas is home to hundreds of thriving and successful companies. Just minutes from both DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport, the region is a unique combination of commercial, residential, recreational and retail land use.
Dallas Central Appraisal District
Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD) is responsible for appraising property for the purpose of ad valorem property tax assessment on behalf of the 61 local governing bodies in Dallas County. The appraisal district is a political subdivision of the State of Texas.
DCAD's duties include establishing and maintaining accurate property values for all real and business personal property by following the Texas Property Tax Code.
