The holidays kick off with the annual holiday parade, tree lighting ceremony and drone show.
Festivities continue with free, family-friendly events through the month of December, designed to get everyone in the holiday spirit!
Join the Holidays at Heritage Parade
Applications for the 2025 Holidays at Heritage Parade are being accepted now online. Families, businesses, community organizations and neighborhoods are encouraged to enter a decorated vehicle, float or walking group. Registration is free.
Complete the online entry form now. Applications are due Sunday, Nov. 30 by 5 p.m.

Heritage District
Irving's annual Holiday Parade kicks off the Holidays at Heritage Series this season! This year's Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place Saturday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. Don't miss this year's "Unwrap the Magic" parade as it lights the streets in Irving's Heritage District.
Following the parade, make your way to Heritage Park for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Drone Show, beginning at 7 p.m. Enjoy live music, photos with Santa, a holiday drone show, the annual tree lighting and so much more!
Parade + Tree Lighting Schedule:
- 6 p.m. | Parade through the Heritage District begins
- 7 p.m. | Activities at Heritage Park begin
- 8:30 p.m. | Tree Lighting + Drone Light Show
- 9 p.m. | Activities conclude

Annual Centennial Holiday Lights
Dec. 6-Jan. 1 | Dusk to 10 p.m., Daily
Centennial Park, 444 W. Second St.
The free holiday lights display affords a leisurely stroll through one of the jewels of Irving’s Heritage District - Centennial Park. The park is decorated with 100,000 lights on the fences, trees and bridge, and walkways are lit on each side to keep pathways visible for visitors after dark.
Portable restrooms are available onsite. Bike riding is not permitted through the display.
The Irving Heritage District has multiple light features during December. Check out holiday lights and décor at Heritage Park, Main Street and the Whistlestop Plaza Clock Tower throughout the month of December.
