1KB4K (1,000 Books Before Kindergarten) is a fun and engaging program designed to encourage early literacy for preschoolers. This challenge invites parents and caregivers to read 1,000 books with their children before they start kindergarten.

The library gladly accepts gifts of gently used materials for possible addition to the collection. Patrons can reserve library materials or join the queue for items. Once items are scanned by staff, the library's system will trigger an email sent to patrons. The items will be held for pickup for 7 days.

When an item's due date approaches, the library's software system will automatically renew any eligible items checked out to a borrower. Each extension is for three weeks, and most items can be renewed up to three times.

Illegal dumping is a serious offense. Depending on the circumstances, individuals caught illegally dumping can face charges ranging from a Class C misdemeanor to a state jail felony. These charges come with significant fines and, in some cases, potential jail time.
