The City of Irving uses the My Government Online (MGO) permit portal to manage the permitting and inspections process. Those needing permits can visit the MGO portal to make applications, pay for permits, schedule inspections, and view inspection results.
For instructions on how to create an MGO account and use the platform, refer to our MGO user guide to follow step by step. For technical help with MGO, our support number is (866) 957-3764.
There is also a mobile app to access all the online services. Download the MGO Connect Mobile App to your phone to have it easily accessible for all your permitting needs.
Do you need help adding a permit to your dashboard or need to know how to add an inspection? We now have an MGO Connect Help Guide that can help walk you through the process with screen shots to help the user navigate the system.
The cut-off time to schedule a same day inspection online is 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. (Inspections are not performed on weekends.)
