Downtown Irving Reimagined

The Downtown Irving Reimagined pilot project is a temporary placemaking initiative designed to transform Main Street into a vibrant destination.

From October through December 2025, the community experienced how Main Street could be transformed on a permanent basis through temporary installations showcasing potential streetscape and public space improvements, creative designs, interactive experiences, and engaging events. Following a 120-day planning process (July–September 2025) focused on community engagement, design, and fabrication, the project came to life through Experience Main St., a series of events and activities that featured the temporary streetscape improvements.
