Pop-Up Activations
Along with testing temporary installations that showcase potential streetscape and public space improvements, as well as hosting engaging events, we are taking this project one step further—testing out the types of businesses the community wants to see. Guided by the 2024 “What Does Downtown Irving Need?” survey, we’ve partnered with the following businesses to help reimagine Main Street.
Storefront Pop-Ups
ZZ's Ice Cream Puffs
130 S. Main St.
Hours: Thursday- Friday | 5-9 p.m. Saturday & Sunday | 2-9 p.m.
A Little Bit About the Space:
ZZ’s Ice Cream Puffs is joining Irving’s downtown revitalization with a three-month pop-up in a previously vacant space. Known for five years as a mobile dessert brand, ZZ’s now serves warm Korean sweet-style buns filled with ice cream and toppings, featuring weekly creative flavors. Founded by Air Force veteran and entrepreneur Nikita Seal, ZZ’s has brought joy to events from the Dallas Mavericks to city-wide celebrations. This pop-up gives the community a chance to enjoy dessert, family-friendly events, and a fresh take on Main Street.

Workshop on Main
115 S. Main St.
Hours: Open during Experience Main St. Featured Events on Oct. 31, Nov. 29, & Dec. 6
A Little Bit About the Space: Workshop on Main is the soft launch of a new creative space designed to bring art, craft, and community together in Downtown Irving. The opening features a pop-up display by the City of Irving Arts Program, along with local makers and hands-on activities. Rather than a temporary storefront, this launch marks the first step toward building a place where creativity can take root and become part of a larger vision for Main Street’s future.
