Overview
Mountain Creek Preserve is a 62.88-acre natural area offering a 4-mile paved trail suitable for hiking, biking, and birdwatching; playground; half basketball court; cricket pitch; and picnic areas with grills.
The preserve is part of the Campion Trail system and provides scenic views of the Elm Fork of the Trinity River.

History
This preserve was acquired in 1984 through Texas Parks and Wildlife Department grant funding, making it one of the first preserves in the Dallas County Open Space System.
