Application Closed - Effective October 1, 2025

Due to the high volume of requests, The City of Irving has received more applications for assistance than current funding allows. As a result, the Homeless Prevention Program application has been closed to new applications effective October 1, 2025.

In addition, the rental assistance hotline (972-721-4899) will no longer be monitored after this date.

If you already submitted an application: Your application will remain on file for review; however, submission does not guarantee assistance. Due to limited funding, some submitted applications may not be awarded.
If your application is in progress (not yet submitted): You application will be closed.

If additional funding becomes available, updates will be posted on this page.
